Coaching for Entrepreneurs:
Building better things together.
You are an entrepreneur. A generous soul who has committed to build something that matters for people who care. You struggle, you hustle, you face all odds to make things happen. You take care of your clients, your stakeholders and most importantly, of your team. But entrepreneurship can be a lonely journey. It’s time to take care of you too. To find your community, your peers, your coach to continue doing the work that makes all the difference.
Goodbye loneliness... Hello community!
Traditional approach: Rote Learning based. Most institutes focus on formulas and shortcuts and their approach is predominantly based on rote learning. Students are forced to spend time on thousands of irrelevant questions and topics. The strategy is “The examiner cannot surprise me” which may have worked for predictable exams like Class X but not for aptitude tests like CAT and GMAT.
Our approach: Logic Based for Aptitude exams. Exams like CAT and GMAT are based on understanding and application of concepts. Therefore, we focus on building logic, comprehension & reasoning skills. We practice only the highest quality, most relevant questions, focussing on past-year CAT and XAT questions and Official GMAT questions. This helps students to become ready for any question that the examiner gives.
Overcome procrastination with Deep-focus study sessions.
With Passionately Curious, you tackle your procrastination head-on by studying in the scheduled Deep Focus self-study sessions. You announce what you’d be studying and then give an update on what you accomplished during the session.
How it’s better: With Netflix, Instagram and WhatsApp groups distracting us with their notifications all the time, doing quality self-study has become a challenge in itself. The Deep Focus sessions help you achieve your study goals while minimising any frustrations procrastination might cause.
Why CAT & GMAT & Placement & Mentorship together?
Because we want YOU to build all 3 important career skills:
Aptitude.
Over the years, our students have beaten everyone else hands down in terms of aptitude. Not only do they achieve extraordinary results in the CAT/GMAT exams (see below), they become extremely confident of their capability to excel anywhere.
Portfolio.
We do not just want to finish the course and get done with it. We want to help you build a confident personality so that you can participate in any meeting, interview or group discussion having real confidence.
Personality.
We proactively guide you in developing your profile throughout the course. We believe that every student has a unique story and we help them make this story tangible. Getting their stories right have helped our students achieve tremendous success in their MBA as well as job interviews.
Build your portfolio with projects.
Your career has already started. At Passionately Curious, every day, every week, we work on improving our skills, our portfolio and our personality. We ship ‘dailies’, we work on our ‘passion project’, we share our ‘portfolio projects’ which are focussed on domains like finance, marketing, and so on. We learn from the best in the world like Prof. Damodaran, Seth Godin and others and share our learnings with each other.
How it’s better: Only preparing for CAT and GMAT can create a fixed mindset which stops you from working on your portfolio and personality. This means that even if you clear the exams, you have nothing to show in the interview process or when companies come for the internships and placement during your MBA.
Supercharge yourself with Weekly Mentorship.
At Passionately Curious, every week we sit down together and each of us reviews our previous week and plans for the next one. Through accountability groups of 3-4 students, we share what we accomplished in the last week, which makes us more likely to do more during the week. We also share our challenges with our mentor who gives us personalised feedback on tackling them.
How it’s better: At every other institute, students are left on their own. They have to attend classes, complete assignments, manage college, commute and whatnot. They do not know who to talk about regarding their self-doubt, procrastination issues and anxiety. Moreover, they keep getting buried under the peer pressure and are unable to cope up with the stress.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. When you put it all together — learning rather than rote-learning, super-positive community instead of cut-throat competition, genuine active mentorship, overcoming procrastination and self-doubt, creating your own online portfolio, weekly accountability and it’s like magic.
